The Cotton Sheds

Draped head to toe in industrial aesthetic, The Cotton Sheds regularly host enthralling shows and conferences. Built in 1925 as a cotton warehouse, The Cotton Sheds cover an incredible 4,533sqm, making them our largest and most dramatic event space. Each ‘Shed’ varies in size and layout, labelled alphabetically with areas that include a bar/ reception and a VIP mezzanine.

The Tobacco Stores

New for 2023, The Tobacco Stores represent the epitome of innovation. Recently converted into two areas, the 1858sqm space is intertwined with exposed brickwork, floor-to-ceiling windows, original archways and ancient steel columns. Its two adjoining spaces can be cordoned off to differentiate activity and consists of a fully-integrated kitchen and extensive PA system including 20 giant projector screens.

The Bays

Made up of two adjoining areas totalling over 700sqm, The Bays are our most popular event space. A large pre-function space with a feature bar leads into the main room, which is complete with a full AV package. This includes screens and projectors, colour-changing down lighters on the pillars, a PA system, staging, lecterns, microphones and relay screens; giving you a hassle-free event solution.

The Archives

A beautifully refurbished, urbanised basement, The Archives have a raw, industrial charm featuring stripped-back brickwork and statement flooring; offering an unconventional setting that can accommodate most event concepts.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
