The Steel Yard

Situated in three beautifully restored Victorian railway arches, The Steel Yard offers a blank and versatile canvas for events that have the wow factor. Discover our flexible event space in the heart of London, easily accessed by Cannon Street station.

We’ve played host to World-renowned DJs and performers, hosted unforgettable award ceremonies, and brought virtual events to the heart of the City. Our stage can be reconfigured to suit the size of the performance and multiple set ups. We have a LED display for immersive backdrop visuals, multiple bars throughout the venue and spaces that can be transformed into VIP areas.

Our three Arches combine to create a flexible event space for over 800 people to move seamlessly around the venue, with the spaces being reset as the day or evening activities evolve.

Arch 1 & 2

Arch 1 is our largest area and features a flexible staging solution, extensive lighting, audio and AV fixtures, powerful WIFI and a scalable LED video wall display.

Arch 2 is our main bar, combine with Arch 1 and install a curtain for a grand reveal! The additional Mezzanine level, located about the main event space, features a fully stocked bar, ideal for a VIP sponsored area or a delegate lounge.

Arch 3

Arch 3 has a private entrance. This space can be booked independently, or used as a reception area before moving into Arches 1 and 2. For catering, the Balcony in Arch 3 transforms into a professional kitchen, with extractor fans built in.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
