KING HARALD V

The King Harald V is decorated in creams, soft blue and gold hich, combined with double height ceilings and natural daylight, three feature chandeliers and window seats, provides an elegant backdrop whatever the occasion. This room is most suitable for a private dinner, buffet, drinks event or meetings.

ASTOR ROOM

The house was Lady Astor’s home for 30 years and the Astor Room was her bedroom. The room has been decorated to its original splendour, complete with gold leaf and the beautiful polished table it looks stunning by candlelight.

THE COURTYARD

The stunning Courtyard is one of the Club’s very special and unique spaces. It offers all weather options and even transforms into a marvellous marquee throughout the Winter months! The beautiful Cowdray Room with its French doors onto the Courtyard can be booked in conjunction with the Courtyard. With welcoming shade from two majestic London Plane trees The Courtyard is dressed in bay and olive trees with artistic statues, creating peace and tranquillity in the heart of St James’s.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
