The Hop Farm

The Hop Farm is Kent’s iconic and historic landmark. Featuring the world’s largest collection of Victorian oast houses, it was a major supplier of hops to London breweries in the 19th and 20th centuries.

The Hop Farm is an ideal venue for your wedding, party, celebration, conference, meeting or exhibition in Kent, easily accessible by public or private transport from London and surrounding counties. Surround yourself with historic beauty for a truly memorable experience. All our function suites face or open out to our manicured lawns and land, offering fabulous views.

The Garden Gazebo. Our licensed Gazebo is located on the delightful wedding lawn. All weddings can make use of the lawns and the gazebo during the fairer months of April to September.

In addition to being the perfect area for the ceremony itself, the Gazebo is also the ideal place to hold your drinks reception and take advantage of the outdoor facilities.

Event Fields. With 500 acres of land and event infrastructure in situ, the event fields for hire at The Hop Farm in Kent are only limited by imagination. There are plenty of flat event fields, but The Hop Farm also offers woodland area, river frontage and camping and touring facilities. Our event fields are regularly hired out for pop concerts, vehicle events, country and trade shows.

Campsite. At our campsite in Kent you can enjoy the best in camping in a glorious setting with all the creature comforts you need. We have showers, toilets and washing facilities, a camping shop and there is a pub/restaurant within short walking distance.

The Dray Function Suite & Marquee

This converted barn and adjoining marquee is one of the few suites in Kent able to accommodate large numbers. The Dray is decorated with wooden floors, soft colours and controllable lighting. It comes complete with overhead projection and PA system for background music or speech giving. The interior of the marquee has been fitted out to look like an additional room rather than the inside of a marquee.

Whites Function Suite and The Shires

Formerly an oast house, this oak beamed and hop garlanded banqueting suite has its own integral bar, dance floor, cloakroom and reception area. The Shires is a relaxed, pub style function area. used as a practical extension for larger parties in Whites. The room boasts a full bar area and a delightful outdoor terrace area.

The Roundels

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
