Dixie Queen

Dixie Queen is a replica 19th century paddle steamer whose proportions set the atmosphere of a ship rather than a large boat. Centrally heated throughout, she is warm and welcoming throughout the year. Her flexible layout allows for a wide variety of events including  celebrations, wedding receptions, corporate functions, product launches, Seasonal parties and much more. When embarking or disembarking at Tower Pier, your guests will marvel as Tower Bridge is raised for the Dixie Queen to pass, bringing London’s busy traffic to a halt.

Elizabethan

Elizabethan is our beautiful replica of an 1890s stern-wheeled Mississippi paddle steamer and one of the most desirable boats for hire on the River Thames. Fully refurbished in 2020, her capacious upper deck provides a versatile space for guests to mingle, host presentations, dine – or dance below the stars, thanks to her large retractable roof. Wooden paneling and sumptuous carpets in her air conditioned saloon are matched with spectacular views through vast windows that were sympathetically installed to retain her beautiful lines as part of a half-million pound refit.

Edwardian

Edwardian is the epitome of British style. Built in 1985 by Sir Richard Branson, her most recent extensive refurbishment in April 2015 saw the addition of a new sky light, copper-topped bar, TV screens, Bose sound system and plush new carpets, further enhancing the guest experience. She serves as a luxurious venue for smaller events. When the sun is out, her open upper deck allows guests to enjoy breathtaking views, glass in hand, before sitting down to lunch or dinner.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
