The Octagon

The Manton Foyer

The Manton Foyer is a contemporary, elegant option, adjacent to our temporary exhibition space, guests can enjoy an exclusive opportunity to see our current major show. With its sleek limestone floor and crisp architectural detailing, it’s a beautiful setting for any reception.

Clore Auditorium

This  exclusive auditorium was designed by British architect James Stirling in 1987 and is equipped with advanced AV capabilities.

This modern addition to the Victorian gallery has its own private foyer for catering, including breakfasts and drinks receptions. The auditorium has fixed seating for up to 190 guests. Perfect for presentations, seminars, screenings and panel discussions, all your requirements can be met by our dedicated in-house technician.

The Grand Saloon

The Grand Saloon is an elegant space showcasing Tate Britain’s striking architectural style, this is ideally suited for any formal occasion. Other features include its beautifully restored Victorian ceiling, unique 1920s-inspired floor design and large domed windows which overlook the River Thames. This impressive space is ideal for meetings and dinner events

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary.
