The Serpentine Galleries, situated within the breathtakingly beautiful Royal Park of Kensington Gardens, hold an international reputation for excellence. The Galleries celebrate the very best in contemporary art with an annual programme of changing exhibitions. Each exhibition provides an extraordinary setting within which to hold your own celebration.

Already proven to be an ideal venue for leaders in finance, music, luxury, fashion and arts, The Serpentine Galleries can be privately hired for breakfast and evening events year-round, with full day hire available on Mondays in off-peak seasons, and multiple day blank canvas hire available throughout February and September London Fashion Weeks.

The Pavilion

The North Gallery

The North Gallery, a former 1805 Grade II listed gunpowder store consists of beautifully proportioned rooms where guests can enjoy the evening whilst immersed in contemporary artworks from emerging and established artists.

The Gallery is available for a variety of events including champagne breakfasts, evening cocktail receptions, brand/product launches, and client entertaining

The South Gallery

The South Gallery is housed in a Grade II-listed former tea pavilion and consists of beautifully proportioned rooms where guests can enjoy the evening whilst immersed in contemporary artworks from emerging and established artists.

The Magazine

The Magazine Restaurant adjoining the North Gallery can be hired for larger events. Its white free flowing structure and frameless glass walls create an impression of dining in the surrounding gardens. This impressive, serene space provides the perfect backdrop for both day and night time events.

The Pavilion

Each summer the Serpentine invites an internationally known architect to create their first built structure in England. Since its launch in 2000, the annual Pavilion has become one of the most anticipated events in the global cultural calendar and a leading visitor attraction during London’s summer season of culture. The Serpentine Pavilion can be hired for summer parties and private events between June and October. A unique party setting that changes yearly.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
