Secret Space is a popular large multi-purpose event space located in the thriving creative heart of Digbeth, Birmingham. Its industrial-style, gable roofs, and steelwork offer you a unique opportunity to host your events in an exciting, quirky and atmospheric environment. Secret Space is a blank canvas making it ideal for a wide range of events.

Digbeth has always attracted an unpreceded amount of industriousness and invention, from its roots as one of the original epicentres of the Industrial Revolution, to the current day revolution it is in the grips of now. Thanks to a concentration of young, independent businesses, attracted by the industrial architecture and street art, Digbeth has grown to become a characterful neighbourhood, known for its friendly people, its innovation and creativity.

The venue contains four sub-spaces, literally Space in abundance that enables multiple solutions for your next event needs giving flexibility on capacity, setup, production and most importantly creativeness around your vision and event aspirations.

The largest of our event spaces Room 1 offers you a huge open plan warehouse space, with a gable roof that washes the floor with an abundance of natural light. The room has many steelwork and industrial features, which is ideal if you prefer to host your events in exciting and unusual event spaces. It is ideal if you are planning a conference, exhibition, gala dinner, award ceremony, company fun day, Christmas party or indeed most corporate events.

The second largest space in the venue and is adjacent to the main room. This room has a fully licensed bar, black walls and a gable roof with lots of steelwork, which can be used for light installations. A blank canvas offers you an urban and industrial option for your event.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
