Illuminate is a progressive award-winning venue designed to both anticipate and surpass the needs of the ever-evolving events industry. Situated on Levels 4 and 5 of the Science Museum, Illuminate is available for both daytime and evening hire.
Among the unique features of this new space is a panoramic window on Level 5, offering stunning views of the City and an abundance of natural daylight, a key element in ensuring a productive meeting or conference experience.
This multi-functional blank-canvas space works as an ideal venue for AGMs, conferences, awards ceremonies as well as dinners and drinks receptions.

This amazing gallery chronicles the inventions that shaped modern society, in a magnificent space that’s available for evening hire for large-scale events.
Making the Modern World’s exceptional collection traces the cultural history of industrialisation from 1750 to the present day and features some of the museum’s most remarkable objects.
You can take full advantage of our in-house lighting system and lighting technician for the duration of your event.

Space Gallery
See iconic spacecrafts and out-of-this-world objects in our exciting new gallery. Located in the museum’s West Hall, Space brings together remarkable exhibits that celebrate both the first space age and the future of space exploration.
As you enjoy your event experience, you will be surrounded by the Apollo 10 and Soyuz spacecraft, which in a world first are displayed side by side—where you can compare the differences between a spacecraft that orbited the moon and one that travelled to the International Space Station.
