Porchester Hall

Grade II listed Porchester Hall is a classic art deco venue in the City of Westminster. It a sought-after venue for all type of events, from fashion shows, dinners, dances, weddings to music gigs, corporate and sporting spectacles.

After passing through Porchester Hall’s opulent entrance, you are greeted by the stunning spectacle of its lavish Main Hall which is handsomely panelled in English oak and walnut. There is a bar area in the Main Hall, as well as a balcony which can function as a VIP bar.

A number of other charming rooms are available within Porchester Hall that are ideal for a backstage area, smaller events or break out spaces. The venue is available to hire throughout the working week, making it perfect for corporate meetings and events.

The venue has a recommended caterer list but also offers dry-hire for flexibility, along with corkage and cash bar options.

Adjoining Porchester Hall is the newly-renovated swimming pool, Porchester Spa and London’s oldest Turkish baths. The facilities are in high demand among event organisers and film crews alike.

The Main Hall’s grandeur and versatility have seen it play host to concerts from the likes of Bastille, Amy Winehouse, Kylie Minogue and Pink Floyd; broadcasts such as Beyoncé‘s ‘Black Is King’ and Monty Python’s ‘The meaning of Life’; as well as countless legendary parties. The venue itself never fails to impress guests with its high ceilings, lavish marble entrance and classic art deco design.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary.
