Painters’ Hall

Painters’ Hall is the perfect venue for your event, combining unique art and valued heritage with the ideal location. Our Livery Hall boasts beautiful art amongst scenes dating back to the 16th century.

The venue is equipped with a standard audio visual equipment package, however our preferred external supplier can provide state of the art equipment and dedicated fibre optic broadband which offers clients the perfect modern amenities against a wonderful historic backdrop.

Painters’ Hall has three flexible spaces which can be used either individually or on an exclusive basis. They are ideally suited for conferences, meetings, dinners, receptions and Christmas parties . Each space has its own unique style and provide flexibility for a variety of events.

The Painted Chamber

Livery Hall

The Livery Hall is the largest and grandest of the three rooms at Painters’ Hall perfect for conferences, banquets or wedding receptions. The splendidly proportioned Hall is hung with a fine collection of Royal Portraits dating from the late 17th century, beautiful crystal chandeliers and magnificent stained-glass windows showing the arms of the Liverymen who have been Lord Mayors of the City of London.

Court Room & Court Dining Room

The walls and displays of the Court Room chronicle the fascinating history of the Painter-Stainers’ Livery Company with a wide collection of historical portraits. Interconnecting doors slide back to reveal a more contemporary collection of art on the walls of the Court Dining Room. Together these Rooms present an ideal setting for pre-dinner drinks or for professional business meetings, presentations or smaller lunches and dinner parties.

The Painted Chamber

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
