Our recently refurbished Great Hall has been transformed into a modern understated space with wall to wall draping and floor length lights illuminating the room with a twinkly glow if desired.

The Great Hall is an incredibly versatile space for conferences with the most up to date in AV technology, including large projectors allowing for up to three screens in use at one time, so you can adapt the space to your exact requirements.

Adjoining is the stunning Main Reception Room, the two rooms provide the perfect flow from a drinks reception to dining experience, or exhibitor space to conference venue.

Auditorium & Atrium

Our Auditorium interior boasts a contemporary finish with natural daylight. However, blackout blinds provide privacy if you need it and will accommodate any flash photography. The Auditorium is equipped with top-of-the-range technical facilities to support a whole range of events, from debates and lectures to conferences and media presentations.

Our atrium is a conservatory-style room with adjoining meeting rooms which leads straight on from our Auditorium. The sophisticated and refined décor provides a comfortable environment to relax, refresh and revitalise and is often used as a vibrant networking  and breakout area where canapes and drinks can be provided..

Main Reception Room

The Main Reception Room is the focal point of One Moorgate Place with its impressive domed glass ceiling and colourful stained-glass windows. Striking murals by George Murray gives the room a sense of history and life from a different era. These original paintings complement the impressive stone columns and the elaborate chandelier,  presenting a stunning and captivating space.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
