Nonsuch Mansion is a Georgian gem set in stunning manicured grounds. Whether you’re looking for a beautiful wedding, a fabulous party or a unique corporate event we would be delighted to hear from you!

The world really is your oyster at Nonsuch Mansion….An unforgettable setting, exclusive hire, award winning service, sensational food and a tenacity that never settles for anything but the best.

In addition to the main event spaces:

The Library. A chic and contemporary space with dark oak shutters, filled with luxury furnishings and featuring Fornasetti’s quirky “Forbidden Fruit” wallpaper. It is used as a bar area, for standing receptions or transformed into an informal breakout space. When the shutters close, it also works as a black out room for screenings or presentations.

North & South Porches. The impressive, principal entrance into the mansion. The South Porch offers guests a route through our gardens along sun or lantern lit pathways to wide slate steps with impressive finals and double glass doors. The North Porch is a dramatic Gothic arched doorway leading to a tall space containing portraits of the Farmer family and literary calligraphy.

Dressing Room. Tucked away on the first floor, is a spacious room with a private cloakroom, views across the park and plenty of natural daylight. It offers ample space for several people, such as a management team, performer or bridal party.

Snug. A beautiful, calm room that adjoins the Library and home to our dramatic globe chandelier, sandstone fireplace and a large bay window. Perfect as a break out room, chill out space, casino or a board lunch.

Our largest event space has so many beautiful features and is bathed in natural light from tall, arch-topped bay windows that look out onto the lawns. This room boasts sumptuous period features such as golden chandeliers, long panel mirrors, medieval style motifs and stained glass. Tall white shutter doors can divide the room into two distinct spaces.

Rose Room

A near-cube room which enjoys natural daylight from three full-length Georgian sash windows offering views over the gardens. It has been decorated in a soft, contemporary style to accentuate the elegant ceiling which is covered in Tudor rose motifs. The striking medieval style feature fireplace bears the motto “Hora E Sempre” – Now and Forever.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
