Ballroom

The Ballroom has been extensively restored and presents a visual feast of rich 24-carat gilding, breath-taking chandeliers and dramatic floor to ceiling windows. HM Queen Elizabeth II learned to dance here with her sister, the late Princess Margaret. The Ballroom has its own exclusive entrance onto Knightsbridge, a private foyer and cloakrooms. Guests can also wander out onto the Private terrace with panoramic views over Hyde Park.

Carlyle Suite

The Carlyle Suite adjoins the Ballroom providing space for pre-dinner drinks or smaller events. With bas relief panels depicting classical scenes and two majestic arched openings in the middle of the room, it provides an elegant and intimate function space.

Loggia

The Loggia is situated adjacent to the Ballroom and enjoys unobstructed views over Hyde Park. With a distinctive circular design, elegant gilding and tall French doors opening out onto a terrace, it offers the most marvellous setting for an intimate dinner or cocktail party. The Loggia’s private Royal Entrance from Hyde Park can be used for special occasions with permission from the Royal Parks.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
