HMS Belfast is a restored Royal Navy Light Cruiser, with spectacular views of Tower Bridge and the River Thames, stunning rooms and outside decks.

With authentic rooms available for meetings and events, HMS Belfast offers the opportunity to experience 1950’s life on board one of London’s most iconic venues. Guests can dine in the Officer’s Mess, or watch the sunset on the Quarterdeck, combining stunning views and superb food to create a truly unique event.

Boat Deck

The Boat Deck, one of the largest decks for hire. Outdoors, but with a canopy and alternative indoor spaces to retreat to in poor weather, the Boat Deck used to be the holding area for the small boats, having previously been the spot from which Walrus aircraft were, literally, catapulted into the air.

Quarter Deck

There can surely be no finer vista for an evening reception than standing on the Quarter Deck, looking out at Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and the Thames dockland scenes. Between London’s most iconic landmarks there is no better place to spend a summer evening than The Quarter Deck.

Morgan Giles Room

Hire The Morgan Giles Room, with extraordinary 1950s decor and a versatile environment suitable for hosting a variety of events in London. This is one of the finer spots aboard the HMS Belfast. This room once served as an Officers’ mess and so includes a bar. Named after the Admiral who served in her and later was responsible for ensuring the ship was saved from the scrap yard.

Ward & Ante Room

This beautiful room is the ideal space for more intimate private dining and events. Comprising of two rooms, it was historically, the Officers’ Mess. The Ante room offers the perfect space for pre-dinner drinks and general relaxing, while the Ward provides the perfect private dining room London has to offer.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
