Grocers’ Hall

Grocers’ Hall is an historical venue offering flexible event spaces for all types of corporate events; from Lunch Presentations, Conferences and Seminars, Drinks Receptions, Wine Tasting and Awards Dinners.

Included in the hire are the traditional Livery Hall with it’s stunning Venetian Chandeliers, the light and airy Piper Room, and three additional syndicate rooms.

Situated in the heart of the City of London in a private courtyard opposite the Bank of England, the venue’s unique and distinctive ambience is matched by the first class service offered by the Grocers’ Hall dedicated and experienced team.

Livery Hall

The Livery Hall is a highly versatile space, suitable for a wide variety of events such as conferences, seminars, AGM’s, roadshows, meetings, award presentations, wine tastings, drinks receptions and dinners. The classic style and heritage of the Livery Hall is complemented by the latest audio visual equipment, including facilities for live webcasts, simultaneous presentation and video conferencing. It even has a Grand Piano, a lovely focal point to a drinks reception or dinner party!

Piper Room

The Piper Room Takes its name from the stunning tapestry designed by John Piper in 1968 that adorns one of the walls. This contemporary room is bathed in natural light giving it a modern, corporate feel. Located on the ground floor and adjoining the Entrance Hall, it is perfect as a networking and catering space when used in conjunction with the Livery Hall, or a splendid room for smaller events.

Pitt Library

Named after William Pitt the Younger, an Honorary Member of the Company, and conveniently located just off the Entrance Hall, the Pitt Library is one of three breakout spaces. The room provides a perfect base for event organisers, with available amenities including a pull-down screen, conference telephone facilities and personal butler service.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
