Fontwell Park Racecourse

Set within 65 acres of beautiful West Sussex countryside, Fontwell Park Racecourse has experience in running successful, large-scale events. Indoors, this could be a conference, seminar or wedding, outdoors, perfect for a drive-in movie, food festival or even a winter wonderland.

With multiple entrance points, extensive outdoor power supply and free parking for over 2,000 vehicles, Fontwell Park really is one of the most versatile hire locations in the region.

Centre Course. Inside the course perimeter is a huge grassed area ideal for outdoor cinema, live music concerts or firework displays. Together with the infrastructure, our technical support, catering and broad range of reliable suppliers, we can help you turn your ideas into a large-scale event.

Hard Standing. The front car park area is ideal for large, covered events or gatherings. It is popular as a site for circuses, car auctions and as a starting point for cycling rallies and fun runs.

Perfect for any private function, the concourse measures over 600 square metres and includes its own bar and café, toilet facilities and terrace overlooking Fontwell gardens. The space also benefits from plasma screen, remote control AV and lighting and panoramic views across the course.

Premier First Floor

This highly versatile room can also be divided into three smaller rooms with separate entrances and soundproof partitions. There is a balcony overlooking the racecourse allowing plenty of natural light which can be minimised by black-out blinds if required. Plasma screens, a projector and built-in microphone system add to the appeal of this flexible space

Paddock Marquee

This beautiful large suite is the perfect choice if you want an outdoor but covered venue, whether you wish to gather your employees together to celebrate achievements and talk future strategy, or if you wish to celebrate your wedding day with everyone you know. Complete with private bar and decking making it perfect for summer events.

Fontwell House

One of our most photogenic locations, this Grade II Listed building with its distinctive pillars and stepped, patioed entrance dates back to the 1920s and, set within landscaped gardens, is a favourite amongst guests as a tranquil area for reflection and group photos should you need it. Inside, the floor to ceiling windows flood the room with natural daylight providing a unique, intimate setting for social occasions or parties.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary.
