Summer celebration

After 2 years of no events, thanks to the Pandemic, it was fantastic to be asked again to organise a Summer Celebration for one of our favourite clients. We have worked with this company for the past 6 years and one of their annual events is a festival style ‘thank you’ to their sales force followed by a conference. This year they just wanted a a full on fantastic party with great food and entertainment.

In one field, we set up a tented village, with loos and showers for 300 people.  In the other field, we set up a marquee with a covered outdoor bar and outdoor space to house a food theatre.

The bar, dressed in chequered cloths with bunting and festival flags served Pimms, mocktails, beer, cider, wine and other soft drinks. Inside the Marquee we provided a stage, dance floor, glitter station, photo booth, bunting and tables dressed in chequered cloths.

The food theatre consisted of 2 pop up kitchens with chefs cooking a delicious Thai and Spanish feast in front of the guests. This was followed by a dessert station and a late night snack.

Entertainment was provided by one of the best function bands in the UK. A 9 piece with brass section and 3 singers. This band really wow their audiences and get interactive with them on the dance floor. They never disappoint! Past the witching hour, a silent disco took the guests into the wee hours of the morning.

Guests went happily off to bed in their glamping tents dreaming of their fabulous Summer Celebration while a security team kept everyone safe over night. A scrumptious breakfast with tea/coffee greeted them when they woke up the next day.

Client feedback: So appreciative of all your help in making our Summer Party happen again. We put out a feedback survey and are thrilled with the response. Lots of very positive comments on the whole Festival feel. The silent disco, food and band in particular! The festival theme is a winner!

Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary.
