Eight and a Half London, previously know as Skinners’ Hall, is a beautifully renovated Grade I listed building with ancient monument status; its forebear, the original ‘Copped Hall’ was leased in 1295. The building was rebuilt after the Great Fire of 1666 and has been used to host events, dinners and gathering for centuries.

Great Hall
Dating from 1670, the Hall is oak panelled and includes a Minstrels’ Gallery. The Hall proudly displays beautiful murals painted by Sir Frank Brangwyn.

Old Court Room
The Old Court Room was restored in 2012 under the direction of English Heritage. The centrepiece is the mahogany East India table from the 18th century, a parting gift to the Skinners’ Company.
