Gable Cottage sleeps 4 people in 2 double bedrooms and has a living room and a spacious kitchen.  The furnishings are traditional in style but with an emphasis on home comfort. The romantic cottage has its own private courtyard, small garden and sits next to Dorney Court and within a stone’s throw of the Coach House Barn itself.

The Coach House Barn

The Coach House Barn is a stunning reinterpretation of Dorney Court’s Victorian brewery and the building, which formerly housed the carriages and coaches.  Looking out over its own private landscaped courtyard the Coach House Barn is a magical addition to the Estate. Four double doors, running the length of the barn, allow light to flood the interior and lead out on to a lovely Yorkstone terrace, which is a perfect place for al fresco entertainment. A rustic stable perches in the far corner of the courtyard and imagination is the only limit to its use.

The Great Hall

The Main House is available to upgrade should you desire for your drinks reception or ceremony. In the gallery above The Great Hall, sits a perfect location for musicians to serenade your guests for a “Love actually” ambience.

Church of St. James the Less

Church of St. James the Less is a delightful flint flecked church with Norman origins, which retains many historic features such as the Tudor tower, medieval wall paintings and stained glass windows. The church favours candlelight, creating a magical, romantic atmosphere for your wedding ceremony.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary.
