De Vere Horsley Estate

Set amidst acres of Surrey parkland, De Vere Horsley Estate has history and heritage at every turn. Designed and built in 1820 by Sir Charles Barry; the architect of the Houses of Parliament and Highclere Castle, the house was later the seat of the Lovelace family who enhanced it with the bold architectural features that can still be seen throughout.

Today, the addition of a contemporary management centre, Horsley Place and the renovation of the estates original stables has created modern spaces, including some of our bedrooms that effortlessly combine with the 19th-century charm of the mansion. From a business meeting to an elegant wedding day, this unique backdrop sets the tone for a memorable event.

The beautifully kept grounds of quiet, extensive Surrey parkland are ideal for a walk with a terrace, lawn, and lake to wander and lose yourself in. The building boast a free, superfast Wi-Fi with a maximum bandwidth of 100Mb is available throughout the hotel. De Vere Horsley Estate also offers guests free access to its leisure facilities, including croquet lawn, football pitch, gym and indoor swimming pool.

The Hub

The Hub is our Smart Space area comprising of a suite of nine newly-refurbished meeting rooms, together with a dedicated lounge, a coffee and refreshments station and the very latest IT audio-visual facilities. When the weather is fair, you’ll also have direct access to The Hub’s courtyard which can be used as an open-air breakout space, somewhere to take refreshment, or a place to work

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary.
