Welcome to Buxted Park Hotel, a luxury country hotel set in the heart of 312 acres of beautiful East Sussex countryside. Built in 1722 by Sir Thomas Medley, it’s history is as colourful as it is long. Over the years, this luxury East Sussex hotel has played host to movers and shakers including William Wordsworth, Winston Churchill and Marlon Brando.

Buxted Park Hotel boasts a 2 AA Rosette restaurant with an exquisite menu for private dining and special occasions.

The Grade II listed Palladian mansion is the perfect rural wedding venue, whilst our historic rooms are one instance where business and pleasure do mix.

The principal stateroom of this very grand house offers great flexibility and is flooded with natural daylight through five full-length Georgian sash windows. The adjacent Coat of Arms room makes a wonderful breakout space, with its own galleried terrace and views over the beautiful gardens. The Ballroom is perfect for weddings, private dining and business events.

The Orangery

The Library

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
