Boreham House is a magnificent 18th Century, Georgian mansion located in the heart of the Essex countryside. The impressive avenue of trees on the approach surround a breath-taking mirrored lake creating a unique setting, sure to evoke feelings of amazement from the moment you arrive.

Set in 35 acres of picturesque grounds, brimming with gorgeous original features, including a beautiful staircase once owned by Henry VIII from 1517 to 1547, Boreham House is an exclusive use venue ideally suited for large and intimate Weddings, Events, Conferencing and Corporate Hospitality. Our team will work with you to make sure your event is a success and will tailor our services to meet with your requirements.

Boreham House prides itself on years of experience in hosting many multi-cultural weddings and events every year.  Understanding cultural requirements is very important to us, therefore we offer a great deal of flexibility so that we can accommodate every little detail.

Boreham House has a Bridal Dressing Room, exquisite Bridal Suite and eight luxurious bedrooms, accommodating twenty-four guests in total. Every room is completed to a high standard with bespoke furniture, modern facilities, iPod docking stations and plasma TV’s for your enjoyment.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
