Home to the British Medical Association, BMA House is Grade II Listed and centrally located in Tavistock Square, London.
This beautiful red brick building was designed in 1911 by the famed architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. The design is neo-classical Palladian and incorporates Portland Stone facades, grand archways, stone Corinthian columns and Westmorland slate roofs.
The building is centred on a courtyard with a memorial fountain. Furthermore, a private garden with a pond, housing physic plants with medicinal properties can be found to the rear of the building and provides a tranquil outdoor space for events. The garden is also famous for being the grounds to the house of Charles Dickens where he is said to have written some of his most famous novels.
Choose from 25 flexible and professional spaces, including 11 purpose-built meeting rooms and breakout rooms. Whether it’s a contemporary twist or traditional elegance, BMA House offers all the versatility and friendly support to suit your next conference, awards diner, wedding or summer and Christmas party.
