Bailiffscourt Hotel & Spa is a truly unique venue for corporate and private events. Nestled in 30 acres of private parkland leading to Climping beach, the stunning medieval architecture blends with luxurious accommodation and our range of interesting spaces for meetings, weddings and private dining. The abundance of private outdoor space makes it ideal for all sorts team building activities and summer celebrations.

Our medieval-style house, thatched houses and cottages, 13th century chapel, inner rose-clad courtyard and underground passageway, rose garden, award-winning spa with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, croquet lawn, tennis courts, 30 acres of private parkland and the beach make Bailiffscourt Hotel & Spa a sumptuous and inspiring exclusive retreat.

The manor house was designed in a medieval style by the Guinness family and is well-situated in the heart of Sussex, with great transport links to London.

There are also 4 rooms for discrete pow-wows for 4-10 people and you can erect a marquee on the lawns for up to 350 guests.

Accommodation. Bailiffscourt has 39 beautiful bedrooms within a series of charming houses. All rooms are individually decorated using beautiful fabrics and filled with antiques and art.

The Music Room. The medieval music room is a brilliantly historic venue with amazing architecture, tapestry hung walls and two gorgeous flower pedestals placed next to a grand fireplace.

Chapel

Chapel. Within a gorgeous, original, 13th century Norman chapel, you can receive a blessing from the local vicar. This wonderfully historic space can be filled with flowers and candles to create a stunning setting for your big day. Alternatively, you can host your drinks reception within the chapel.

Since 2018, Venues All Areas & The Events Architect have organised our events, each for between 300 and 500 staff. Quite simply, they have all been a phenomenal success. Our Summer Party now runs over three days, involving everything from marquees, refined catering, smart sleeping tents, bands, and a myriad of other activities (even ice cream vans!). Our Christmas Party is traditional black tie, which they somehow also make special and out of the ordinary. They challenge themselves to go above and beyond, and they SUCCEED, whilst keeping within the all-important budget!
